1What is your schedule for the film?

Without any further pandemic delays, we film Winter of 2021, edit Spring of 2022, and distribute Fall of 2022.

2Where can I watch the film?

We will premiere in Grand Rapids and then nationally. Our distribution platform is not yet identified.

3Where can I find these books that inspired the film?

Both Dr. Robinson’s and Dr. Jelk’s books are available at GRAAMA (Grand Rapids African American Museum & Archives) downtown GR at 87 Monroe Center St NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503, at the WeRLit bookshop booth. WeRLit also has an online presence. The titles are A City Within a City: the Black Freedom Struggle in Grand Rapids, MI (Todd E. Robinson) and African Americans in the Furniture City: the Struggle for Civil Rights in Grand Rapids (Randal M. Jelks)
